Durham & District Horticultural Society General Meeting Workshop

Thursday, July 19, 2018 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Durham Co-Op, 377 Garafraxa Street S, Durham

The Durham & District Horticultural Society's July General Meeting will be held at the Durham Co-Op, 377 Garafraxa Street South, Durham. We're having a WORKSHOP! Succulents are very popular garden or container plants and we will welcome Grey County Master Gardener Margot Byers to help us learn the best planting, growing and caring for practices to keep these easy to care for plants looking their very best. Succulents of all kinds will be available for purchase so bring along your container of choice. They grow with very little soil and a glass bowl, piece of driftwood, barn board or a rock with indentations make excellent succulent vessels. Or, just come and learn about these plants for your gardens at home and plan out a succulent garden of your own. Our workshops are always fun evenings and a great way to learn something new. Refreshments will be served and Everyone is Welcome. Bring your friends!
