Little Libraries

Tuesday, October 16, 2018 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: Durham Branch - West Grey Library

The idea is simple. You put in books that you no longer wish to keep, and other book lovers take them, sometime contributing their own in return. Kids love it, it encourages them to read and now adults have a place to share their beloved books rather than where they often sadly end up, in the landfill. Jennifer Hart will discuss the Little Library movement and give you tips on how to build and install them. Free: Register ahead.

Casting Call - Sex Please, We're Sixty

Monday, November 26, 2018 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Location: Hanover Civic Theatre

Mrs. Stancliffe's Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast has been successful for many years. Her guests (nearly all women) return year after year. Her next door neighbour, "Bud the Stud" believes they come to spend time with him in romantic liaisons. Her other neighbour and would-be suitor Henry Mitchell has developed a blue pill to increase the libido of menopausal women. Bud gets his hands on some of the pills. The women find out what he is up to, so they plan retaliation and the fun begins! This is a comical farce and deals with innuendo, not actuality! Roles for four women and two men. Rehearsals on Mondays and Wednesdays. More information on the website: www.hanovercommunityplayers.ca

Casting Call - Sex Please, We're Sixty

Wednesday, November 28, 2018 6:30pm - 8:00pm
