Municipal Council

Council consists of the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and seven Councillors (contact information). Council meets twice a month to consider municipal business (schedule and agendas). Individuals or groups wishing to make presentations to Council should contact Deputy Clerk, Mark Turner at least one week before a scheduled meeting. There is also time set aside at the end of every Council meeting for questions from the public.

Much municipal business gets introduced and reveiwed in committees before being recommended to Council. Most committees meet once every month.
