- West Grey Durham Lions Club members provided information on the Saugeen Summer Night event that will be held in Durham on September 9, 2023. Council declared the event as being municipally significant and encouraged residents to attend.

West Grey to lower flags on the National Day of Mourning

On April 28, 2023, the National Day of Mourning, workplaces across Canada will pause, reflect, and remember those who lost their lives, suffered injury or illness on the job, or experienced a work-related tragedy. This day also highlights the importance of safe work and preventing further tragedies.
“This day reminds us that one injury, illness or death is one too many,” said Mayor Kevin Eccles. “Let’s turn our attention to prevention, so that all can be safe on the job.”

This notice is to inform residents that the Durham Road East reconstruction project will commence the week of April 24, 2023. This phase of reconstruction will be from Garafraxa Street to Kincardine Street including William Street. This work involves the replacement of the water works and the installation of new storm sewer works. Notice of intention to pass amendment to the fees and charges bylaw 45-2021

Please be advised that the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey intends to adopt an amendment to fees and charges bylaw 45-2021, in accordance with subsection 391(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25.
The amendment to the fees and charges bylaw includes the following:
- Add a spring ice time period being ‘April 1 to May 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday’ at a cost of $100.00 per hour plus HST;
- Add a business hours civil marriage ceremony fee of $295.00 plus HST; and
