West Grey to host community improvement plan information evening

WEST GREY, ON—The Municipality of West Grey is hosting an information evening to share a draft of the community improvement plan (CIP).
Staff will share an overview of the CIP grant matching program, give examples of eligible projects and end with questions from the audience.
The event will be held remotely through Zoom. Everyone is welcome. The draft of the plan can be viewed here.

West Grey residents asked for feedback on trails and cycling plan

WEST GREY, ON—Grey County has released its draft cycling and trails master plan and is now asking for input from local residents.
Should you wish to have input on any of the proposed trails or paths running through West Grey or Grey County please share your thoughts at https://greycountycyclingandtrailsmasterplan-grey.hub.arcgis.com/
The feedback period ends August 14, 2020.

On Wednesday July 29, 2020 the municipality hosted a community information session on updates to the alcohol policy, recreation and exploration around licensing facilities.

West Grey playgrounds and summer ice to reopen

WEST GREY, ON—The Municipality of West Grey has implemented a gradual and responsible approach to reopening municipal facilities. Outdoor green spaces, courts and sports fields have been open since June 12, and beginning this weekend, playgrounds in Durham will also open. Playgrounds in Ayton and Neustadt are expected to open in the coming weeks, once staff have assessed and prepared the equipment.
