Two separate detours for Garafraxa Street culvert replacement project in Durham

WEST GREY, ON – Work to replace the box culvert on Garafraxa Street in downtown Durham, between South Street and Saddler Street, will begin next week. Road closures will be in effect from October 4 and the project is expected to last for a month.
Two separate detour routes – one for local traffic and cyclists and the other for commercial trucks and heavy vehicles – are planned.
Local traffic will be rerouted from Garafraxa Street, along South Street West to Queen Street South, then to Saddler Street...
