Council meeting highlights - March 7, 2023
Council received a delegation from Michael Pahor, Nuclear Waste Management Organization and Steve Travale, Municipality of South Bruce respecting Adaptive Phased Management (APM) for the long-term management of used nuclear fuel.
Council received a delegation from John Lamberts and Ann Hagedorn of the Glenelg Nordic Ski Club respecting the Glenelg Klondyke Forest.
Council received a delegation from Dianne Booker of the Grey County Federation of Agriculture (GCFA) respecting an update on the GCFA.

Council received correspondence from the Durham Homecoming Committee regarding the Durham Splash Pad project and directed staff to work with the Durham Homecoming Committee on the project.
Council reviewed a Salt Management Plan from the Manager of Public Works and directed staff to submit a copy to Environment Canada for information purposes.
Council approved the expansion of ice availability at the Normanby Arena Complex and authorized an agreement with Quick Feet Hockey Inc. for ice usage.
Council directed staff to provide tiered registration for Elephant Thoughts Summer Camp.
Council directed staff to work with the West Grey Durham Lions and the West Grey Community Gardeners to find an alternate location for the off-leash dog park and community garden.
Council directed staff to bring forward a report on changing the format and time of the second council meeting of each month.
