Council Meeting Highlights - October 7, 2025
Council received a delegation from Skyline Energy about a proposed development of a battery energy storage system in West Grey.
Council received a staff report regarding the delegation to staff of the removal of H Holding symbols. Council directed staff to amend the Delegation of Powers and Duties bylaw to delegate this process to staff. The addition of this delegation will further reduce red tape, enable staff to respond to issues more efficiently, and support Council’s focus on its strategic role through the effective processing of routine matters.
Council received a staff report regarding a proposed Flag Flying and Proclamation Policy. Council approved the Municipal Flag Flying and Proclamation Policy and rescinded any previous resolutions, practices, or policies inconsistent with its provisions.
