Half Load Restrictions Lifted in Effect May, 1 2026 for West Grey

Effective May 1, 2026, reduced load restrictions on all municipal roads in West Grey have been lifted.

The seasonal half-load restrictions were in place from March 1 to April 30, 2026, under Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act to help protect municipal roads during the spring thaw, when road surfaces are most vulnerable to damage from heavy vehicle traffic.

West Grey thanks residents, businesses, and commercial operators for their cooperation in helping preserve the municipality’s road network during this period.
