Notice of Intention to Amend Fees and Charges Bylaw - Waste Carts

Please be advised that the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey intends to adopt an amendment to fees and charges bylaw 2025-065, in accordance with subsection 391(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25. 

The amendment to the fees and charges bylaw will amend Schedule F as follows:

Replacement if cart is damaged by the owner.

Cancel additional waste cart service.

Includes cart pick up.

The meeting at which the bylaw will be presented will take place at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in West Grey council chambers, 402813 Grey Road 4, Durham, ON. Members of the public may attend in person or electronically via Zoom.

Notice is being provided in accordance with notice bylaw 2023-020. If the matter is postponed or considered at a subsequent council meeting, no additional notice will be provided other than the information on the subsequent council agenda.
