Temporary Total Fire Ban in Effect in West Grey
West Grey Fire Service (WGFS) has issued a total fire ban on all outdoor recreational/campfires and all open-air burning, effective Friday July 17, 2026, in response to the ongoing and forecasted poor air quality conditions.
This ban will remain in effect until further notice. All active burn permits are suspended, and no new permits will be issued until the ban is lifted.
West Grey Fire Service will continue to monitor and further information will be provide through official channels as conditions improve.
