Significant Weather Event Declared – Municipality of West Grey
The Municipality of West Grey has declared a Significant Weather Event (SWE) as of Monday, January 19, 2026, in accordance with Section 16.9 of Ontario Regulation 239/02.
The Significant Weather Event has been declared due to forecasted and/or observed weather conditions. This declaration is intended to notify the public that extra caution should be exercised when travelling on roads and sidewalks maintained by the Municipality of West Grey. Due to freezing rain and icy conditions, it may take longer than usual to restore roadways and sidewalks to a state of repair.
This Significant Weather Event will remain in effect until further notice.
