The replacement of the former single-lane Lantz bridge on Concession 2 WGR has been completed, along with interesting drone footage capturing the installation.
This project replaced the 15-metre bridge with a wider two-lane wooden bridge. The Bentinck landfill will be open Wednesday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Durham landfill will be open Thursday and Friday 12:00 noon to 6 p.m. The Normanby landfill remains closed due to staffing shortages. There will be no changes to curbside service - please have your clear bags and recycling out by 7 a.m. on your pick-up day.
