Former West Grey Councillor Robert (Bob) Miller passed away on October 27, 2022. Bob never lost his interest in municipal government and will be greatly missed at council meetings and by many who had the pleasure of knowing him.

West Grey to seek community input on policing services

The Municipality of West Grey will be launching a community survey on October 27, 2022, for citizens to provide their input on policing services.
This survey is part of a police costing project requested by West Grey council in December 2021. Curbside leaf and brush collection will take place on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 8 a.m.
Pickup will take place in Durham, Neustadt, Ayton and Elmwood (West Grey side).
Please have leaves in large brown paper bags and brush tied in bundles at the curb by 8 a.m. Leaves placed in plastic bags and loose brush will not be collected.
Public notice regarding flushing of hydrants

Please be advised that the Municipality of West Grey will be flushing hydrants in Neustadt and Durham. Due to operational issues, hydrant flushing will begin in the month of October and will extend into November.
Flushing is an essential maintenance function necessary to maintain water quality, improve the carrying capacity of pipes, and ensure the proper operation of distribution system components, such as hydrants and valves.
