The flags at West Grey facilities have been lowered to half-mast as a gesture of respect in recognition of the passing of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Prince Philip passed away at the age of 99.

His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

West Grey closures under provincial orders
The Municipality of West Grey will be following the provincial stay-at-home order as of 12:01 a.m., April 8, 2021. The administration office, recreation facilities and libraries will be closed to the public until further notice.

On April 7, 2021 the province announced a province wide stay-at-home order effective 12:01 a.m. on April 8, 2021. The municipal office is closed to the public until further notice, staff can be reached via phone or email.
