The Municipality of West Grey will be launching a community survey on October 27, 2022, for citizens to provide their input on policing services.
This survey is part of a police costing project requested by West Grey council in December 2021. Council directed staff to issue a request for proposals to invite eligible policing services to submit proposals for the provision of policing services in the municipality. Curbside leaf and brush collection - November 14, 2022

Curbside leaf and brush collection will take place on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 8 a.m.
Pickup will take place in Durham, Neustadt, Ayton and Elmwood (West Grey side).
Please have leaves in large brown paper bags and brush tied in bundles at the curb by 8 a.m. Leaves placed in plastic bags and loose brush will not be collected.
Public notice regarding flushing of hydrants

Please be advised that the Municipality of West Grey will be flushing hydrants in Neustadt and Durham. Due to operational issues, hydrant flushing will begin in the month of October and will extend into November.
Flushing is an essential maintenance function necessary to maintain water quality, improve the carrying capacity of pipes, and ensure the proper operation of distribution system components, such as hydrants and valves.

Flags lowered to honour Queen Elizabeth

-WEST GREY, ON — All flags at West Grey municipal facilities have been lowered to half-mast to honour the late Queen Elizabeth.
“It is with great sadness that we recognize the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,” said West Grey Mayor Christine Robinson. “Her Majesty’s 70 year-reign personified selfless service, and steadfast duty.”
Her Majesty’s passing was announced today, September 8, 2022 and flags will remain lowered until further notice.
