The Municipality of West Grey is conducting a survey to learn more about how often and why the residents of West Grey attend landfill sites. There are three ways to complete the survey;
- Complete the survey on paper and deliver it to the West Grey Municipal Office.
- Complete the survey on paper, scan it and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Beginning Saturday, November 3, 2021, there will be a new way to recycle film plastics and expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam) in West Grey. The Municipality is now accepting film plastics and expanded polystyrene at the Bentinck and Durham landfill sites. Residents can drop-off certain types of film plastics and expanded polystyrene for free. Styrofoam recycling can be dropped off at two landfills in West Grey starting November 1, 2021. West Grey will be recycling expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam packaging, commonly referred to as Styrofoam, in partnership with Second Wind Recycling. Styrofoam recycling will be based out of the Bentinck and Durham landfills.Drop-off locations:

Curbside leaf, garden debris and brush collection will take place on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 8:00 a.m.
Pickup will be in Durham, Neustadt, Ayton and Elmwood (West Grey side).
Please have leaves in large brown paper bags and brush tied in bundles at the curb by 8am. Leaves placed in plastic bags and loose brush will not be collected.
