WEST GREY, ON—West Grey has opened several raised-bed gardens near the Durham Community Centre.
The gardens are open to any resident looking to plant and maintain a garden space for the summer, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
“The community garden is a simple outreach that connects residents with garden spaces,” Mayor Christine Robinson said. “It literally is a way to put down roots in your community. This community garden is a welcome space to learn and grow food.”
