State of emergency remains in effect for Municipality of West Grey

Please be advised of West Grey's Emergency closure of Bridge G-038.
Bridge G-038 in Glenelg on Northline just west of Camp Oliver Road will be closed until further notice.
Curbside recycling and waste will not be impacted by this closure. We thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation.

Construction begins on new West Grey Police Station

WEST GREY, ON – The construction of the new West Grey police station has officially begun, with Domm Construction undertaking the $8.88 million project in Durham. The construction is estimated to take 16 months to complete and will be funded through the 2024 and 2025 budgets, as well as long-term borrowing.

Council received a delegation from Jesse Walsh regarding zoning amendment ZA07.2024. The proposed zoning bylaw amendment would provide relief from the provisions of the ‘R2 Medium Density Residential’ zone to permit the construction of a new three-unit townhouse and a new semi-detached dwelling; an existing single detached dwelling will remain.
